Parameter Issues in Dynamo for Revit 2023

Revit 2023 has been out for a few months now, and I gotta say, I have grown to like the new UI of Dynamo quite a bit. Yes, there are a few things you have to adapt to (node size changes) but once you get past that it is a solid release, (and the team is adding new features to the daily builds all the time).

However, there has been a pretty serious bug that worked past the team regarding setting parameter values in Revit 2023.

Super Informative

With Revit 2023, we are experiencing the finalization of some pretty significant API changes when it comes to units and parameters. We have been getting warned about this for a couple of years, but it is still easy to miss some of these changes.

Additionally, as you may or may not know, you can no longer update Dynamo (in Revit) yourself. It is installed with Revit and updated at point releases. This means we have had to wait until now (Revit 2023.0.2) to finally get the update. Unfortunately, the update missed the Revit nodes fix in Dynamo 🤦‍♂️.

Thankfully there is a fix available and we go over how to implement it in the video below, (Also check out Sol’s post on the forum here).
